Plaintiff, a state prisoner, filed a Complaint under 42 U.S.C. § 1983 alleging constitutional violations of deliberate indifference to serious medical needs and retaliation committed a prison official at Martin Correctional Institute. The claim has been allowed to proceed. A settlement conference on the matter resulted in an impasse, and the deadline for all dispositive motions before the case is set for trial is August 15, 2025.
