NOTICE
The United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida is seeking a contractor to install government provided carpet tile in the Gallery Entrances to chambers in the 13th Floor North and the secure corridors in the 13th Floor North in the Wilkie D. Ferguson Courthouse located at 400 North Miami Avenue, Miami, FL 33128 as described in Section C (Specifications/Statement of Work) of this solicitation and in the attached Floor Plans.
The contractor must be very experienced in commercial carpet installation and painting and must be able to provide references and show similar commercial projects they have recently installed to the Court’s representative.

for the relocation of U.S. Federal Building and Courthouse at 299 East Broward Boulevard Fort Lauderdale, Florida, 33301, to its new location at the new Ft. Lauderdale federal courthouse on 315 Southeast 11th Street, Ft. Lauderdale Florida 33315. The project encompasses offices and other areas throughout the building.
A fixed price award from this RFQ will be made based on the technical acceptability of the provided bid. Technical specifications are detailed in the FAP prepared by the AOUSC. Specifications are subject to change based on market research and new information. Any changes will be communicated to the vendor, who will be given an opportunity to modify their proposal and resubmit

The contractor and all employees will be subject to a government security clearance and criminal background check. The contractor shall submit a completed Background Investigation Form which will be provided to the contractor by the Contracting Officer for each employee who will be assigned to work at the Court. We require the names, dates of birth, social security numbers, race, and sex of the contractor's employees. All of the employees will have to come to the courthouse to have their fingerprints taken before the background check is processed. All employees assigned to work at the Court for the term of the contract must have an approved Background Investigation Form on file with the Contracting Officer.
