On March 9, 2020, Plaintiff was restrained in the back of a police car when an officer grabbed his genitalia multiple times. Additionally, when en route to the Broward County Jail, the same officer drove fast and hit the brakes causing plaintiff to slam his head and face multiple times on the window and glass. The Complaint has survived screened and an Order setting trial and pretrial deadlines has been entered. Trial is scheduled to begin during the two-week period commencing January 13, 2025.
