Respondent, Sapir Swissa Dana, is seeking representation after her ex-husband, Petitioner, Israel Bassat filed a Petition under the Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction asserting Respondent is wrongfully retaining their children from Israel. A show cause hearing has already been held, and a hearing on the petition is scheduled for December 9, 2024. Volunteer representation would include both preparing Respondent for and representing her at the December 9 hearing before Chief Judge Altonaga.
