Plaintiff Rodney Thomas seeks representation in his 42 U.S.C. § 1983 lawsuit against two corrections officers at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center, Miami-Dade Departments of Corrections. Plaintiff asserts three deliberate indifference to serious medical needs claims based on defendants’ alleged response to his broken hand, broken catheter clamp, and need for a medically-prescribed kidney dialysis diet. The Complaint has survived screening under 28 U.S.C. § 1915A. The case is not set for trial at this time. The discovery deadline is September 17, 2024, the mediation deadline is October 15, 2024, and the dispositive motion deadline is November 12, 2024.
