The Complaint alleges that Plaintiff experienced a hostile work environment, and was subjected to reprisal and retaliation, including removal from federal service, based on his race. Plaintiff now seeks backpay for lost benefits, compensatory damages for emotional distress, punitive damages, costs of litigation fees, and to be reinstated to his former position or a comparable one. This case is at a very early stage, and volunteer representation would entail representing Plaintiff during all pretrial proceedings, including discovery, mediation, and at trial, if necessary.
