We have received several reports today of citizens receiving fraudulent emails purportedly sent from the Court.

While recent samples reference a court-appointed mediator and an Alternative Dispute Resolution matter (such as ADR Conference ID No. 6:26-cv-12667-ADR or similar variations), these case numbers do not exist in our system, and these emails do not originate from this Court.

What You Should Do:

• Do not click links or open attachments: If you receive a suspicious message referencing this or any other unrecognized case number, please disregard it immediately and do not interact with any links or attachments.
• Verify before acting: Court communications will generally reference legitimate cases you are involved in. If you receive an email regarding a court matter and are unsure whether it is legitimate, please contact the Court directly via our official phone number or website to verify before taking action.
